Do I sign a contract for monitoring, or leasing of equipment?
Absolutely NOT. There is no monthly fee and the unit belongs to you. This is the main reason why people choose to arm their home with Sovereign Security’s Wireless Home Alarm Systems.
What happens when my alarm goes off?
In the event your alarm is tripped, the siren will go off and the control unit/panel automatically starts to notify all 6 people stored in its memory. It then plays your own recorded message and allows them to listen in to what is happening in the home, arm or disarm the system as if they were there – and take appropriate action.
Does a home security system really reduce the likelihood of being burglarized?
Yes. Recent North American studies suggest that a home monitored security systems are three times less likely to be burglarized. Other studies put this number as high as 15 times less likely to be burglarized.
Can I get a discount on my homeowner's insurance by installing a security system?
Yes. A security system may save you up to 15% on your homeowners' insurance. Ask your insurance agent for full details.
What if my phone line is compromised?
Most alarm systems use traditional telephone lines (or landlines) to transmit signals to monitoring centres. Other companies simply recommend having a wireless backup connection installed with your alarm system. This way, if your telephone line is compromised, the signal from your alarm can still be carried by radio or cellular signal to the monitor.
Sovereign also includes a special feature that will sound the siren immediately in the event the phone line is cut.

What if I subscribe to an alternative phone service (Skype, VOIP)?
Wireless Systems from Sovereign will work with any touch-tone compatible service.
Who will install my security system?
The fact that Sovereign Security’s Alarms are Wireless, allows any homeowner to easily install and move where each sensor is placed in their house. The average time spend by homeowners setting up their new wireless system is less than 1 hour.
How quickly can I have my system delivered?
We can often ship our wireless security alarms in 2-3 business days. Just call and ask for details.
What if I’m moving?
Because the entire system is wireless you can take it with you and keep all the programmed telephone numbers the same, or change them if you wish. Or you may choose to leave your security system behinds as it may increase the value of your home. Don’t forget to tell the new home owners how to program their own personal 6 phone numbers for their new wireless security alarm.
